Lisa McLoughlin trained at the prestigious Rambert School, London. She then joined Daghdha Dance Company under the direction of Mary Nunan. A founding member of Rex Levitates Dance Company (Now Liz Roche Company), She has also been a regular dancer with CoisCéim, IMDT,Ciotóg, Catapult, Marguerite Donlon and Dancers in Berlin, and Opera Ireland. She has performed in China, Australia, USA, Germany, Poland and the UK. Her Choreography was awarded the Jane Snow Award at the Dublin Fringe Festival. She co-Choregraphed Fourtold in 2011 and in 2012, Below the Tide, both funded by the Arts council of Ireland. She was a member of the board of Directors of Dance Ireland for five years and is now on the board of the Liz Roche Dance Company. She is currently writing her Master’s thesis which combines Dance and Psychology. She is also a qualified STOTT Pilates instructor and a Yoga Alliance certified teacher. Lisa is currently a lecturer in dance on the BA Voice and Dance at the Irish World Academy.
