Limerick Transport Options

BUSES

City-Campus Buses:

There are three different buses that run between the University campus and the City Centre:

Bus Eireann: 304

Dublin Coach 307 & 308

The main City Centre stop is William St., and the Campus stop is the UL Campus Stables

Buses to Limerick City:

Bus Eireann’s 343 service runs between Shannon Airport and Limerick City.

Eireagle runs a service from Dublin Airport to Limerick City.

The Dublin Coach M7 service runs from Dublin City Centre directly to the UL Campus, and it is possible to take the N7 bus from Dublin airport and switch to the M7 to come to campus.

J.J. Kavanagh also runs a direct route from Dublin Airport to the UL Campus, but be aware that this is a very slow service!

TAXIS

Taxis are easiest to book through the Free Now app, but there are several taxi companies in Limerick including Castletroy Cabs and Limerick City Taxis.

A taxi from the UL Campus to the City Centre generally runs between €11 – €20.

TRAIN

Limerick City is also served by trains from Dublin City. Be aware that the Limerick City station is Limerick Colbert (NOT Limerick Junction).
