Strings like you have never heard before! The MA in Classical String Performance in partnership with the MA in Composition and Creative Music Practice present a broad range of works by contemporary Irish composers currently writing for strings. Composing for strings in the 21st century provides a wonderful challenge for composers due to the diverse and exciting medium that stringed instruments offer. In this lunchtime concert, 3 of the most versatile string players in the new music scene, perform a wide and tantalising selection of works that display the violin, viola and cello in ways you never imagined!
