A concert of cross-cultural percussion music, featuring
Deanna McDonagh on drumkit and an ensemble of drums
and brass. Deanna leads the ensemble on a journey through
traditional rhythms from West Africa, Cuba, the Carribean
and Brazil. At the heart of the performance, Deanna plays
a range of traditional rhythms, which she has transposed
for performance on drumkit and arranged for drum-line
performance.
