Bryan Day is a sound artist, musical instrument designer, and
conceptual artist based in San Francisco. Using scavenged
electronics, repurposed mechanical components, and amplified
materials, he re-imagines them into constructivist sound
sculptures. Day has performed, taught workshops, and built
sound installations across Europe, Asia and the Americas. Bryan
is a member of Euphotic with Cheryl E. Leonard and Tom Djll;
Collision Stories with Michael Gendreau, Mason Jones and Jorge
Bachmann; Pay Dirt with Victoria Shen; and Seeded Plain with
Jay Kreimer. His projects have releases on Tansprocesz, Ikuisuus,
Chocolate Monk, Digitalis, Unread, Freedom From, Charnel,
Gilgongo, Creative Sources, Bug Incision, Almost Halloween
Time and many other labels over the last 25 years.
