‘Songs My Mother Taught Me’
A biographical investigation of the play, dialogue and connection between violin and body, developed in collaboration with Jazmin Chiodi. This performance follows up Diane’s February 2018 work – Dance of Shadows (theatrical interpretation of Ysaye’s Solo Violin Sonata no. 2) and is an entirely original piece. The work will explore the impact of her specific instrumental training on her practice and performance. Your support would be most appreciated.
