Ildánach 

Ildánach are a fresh, innovative traditional Irish music group from County Mayo. The group originally formed in 2018 for the competition Siansa Gael Linn, in which they reached the final in the National Concert Hall. Their success continued in 2019, winning the Meitheal Group Contest, performing at the Meitheal Concert at Fleadh Cheoil Drogheda and also featuring on FleadhTV. Although the band’s style is rooted in traditional Irish music, Ildánach draws inspiration from multiple genres to produce a distinctive, exciting and balanced sound. Offering a new and varied insight into trad music, Ildánach are a group you will be seeing a lot more of in the future.
