Special Event – Migrant Health Research Networking and Knowledge Exchange Seminar: An Arts-Based Event

December 9, 2022 at 9:00 am - 4:30 pm

Chair: Dr Kathleen Markey

This inaugural seminar will provide an inclusive and

participatory space for networking, knowledge exchange

and dissemination of migrant health research outcomes,

through Irish World Music Café methods. It has been codesigned

by the Participatory and Arts-Based Methods for

Involving Migrants in Health Research (PART-IM) cluster,

in partnership with Doras (NGO for migrants) and with

support from the World Health Organisation Collaborating

Centre for migrants’ involvement in health research,

University of Limerick (UL). The seminar will provide a

platform to showcase migrant health research outcomes

as identified in a research prioritisation exercise and action

plan completed by PART-IM in 2021. Keynote speakers

will include WHO European Region Migrant Health Team,

Professor Helen Phelan and Professor Anne MacFarlane.

Refreshments will be provided on the day. Admission is free
