Special Events – Common Treads

This two-day event will celebrate a diversity of percussive dance styles from Ireland, Britain and North America. As well as workshops and performances, the event will culminate in a special Tower Seminar where dancers will share their stories through dance. The dance traditions featured will include Irish, Scottish, English, Quebecois and Appalachian Clogging. During the events we will look at the shared elements of a range of percussive dance practices.
