PhD Arts Practice Performance.
Kelsey Schuhle invites you to join her as she presents her
first PhD performance. “Seeking New Rhythms” is about
pushing boundaries. As a percussive dance researcher, Kelsey
is exploring her own creative practice with a concentration
in stillness/silence. Her performance will include solo pieces
choreographed to a variety of musical styles excluding only
Irish Traditional music. This performance will show a diversity of
stillness/silence in rhythm and movement, portraying the “less
is more” concept. Please come and join Kelsey in appreciating
the beauty and effectiveness of stillness/silence.
